GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting to the IT Manager for ERP Systems, this role will be responsible for providing support and solutions to key user groups of our ERP systems.  This role will work closely with other teams within IT as well as with our Operations function which includes Supply Chain and Customer Service to ensure a stable operating environment, increase efficiencies and explore additional capabilities within the systems.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Business/Commerce/Engineering or Information Technology and significant relevant work experience

Knowledge and understanding of multiple ERP modules and how they relate to key business areas, such as Financials, Procurement, Inventory & Warehousing operations

Experience with an integrated ERP such as Pronto, SAP, Oracle, Dynamix, JDE etc.

Demonstrated experience implementing ERP either as a consultant or within an organization going through an ERP project

Experience with business process design

Experience with BI packages such as Tableau and Cognos

Ability to learn new skills and work within a team environment

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Create and deliver solutions to meet the needs of key user groups by:
    • Expanding the breadth and depth of their Pronto software knowledge
    • Communicating openly with clarity and precision to both key users and colleagues
    • Providing consultative guidance and best practice advice to key users
    • Working collaboratively with key user groups and external consultants to deliver solutions and services
    • Implementing and configuring Pronto software solutions
  • Project Manager responsibilities include:
  • Project Planning
    • Ensure project requirements are fully captured and create, negotiate and communicate the project delivery methodology and schedule
    • In collaboration with the wider IT team and with other Departments, establish the required project team
    • Ensure project delivery responsibilities and commitments are understood internally and, if applicable, with external partners
  • Project Delivery
    • Lead the ongoing execution of the project delivery process
    • Monitor and track the progress of task execution, and the production of deliverables
    • Regularly report project delivery status to both internal and external stakeholders, including progress against schedule and budget
    • Facilitate internal and external project status meetings based upon the cadence established for the project
    • Communicate delivery challenges as they arise and mediate their resolution
