TORONTO, CANADA – February 25, 2021 – Mevotech, a North American market leader in the engineering, design and manufacture of driveline, steering and suspension aftermarket parts, announced today the release of a first-to-market front lower control arm for the 2019-2017 Chrysler Pacifica.
Patented Bi-Metallic Technology
Mevotech’s CMSS251239 and CMS251240 feature patented Bi-Metallic technology (US No. 8757648), which enables a ball joint with upgraded greaseable sintered metal bearings to be threaded into a unitized aluminum control arm. This technology optimizes performance and part service life, especially under high heat and high load conditions, when compared to the OE-style plastic bearing.
Reinforced Design
Mevotech’s engineered control arm solution improves upon the original OE-style forging profile, by filling in recesses and adding additional cross-bracing. This optimizes control arm assembly strength and rigidity.
